KURZBESCHREIBUNG
Der Maya Jumper wird von oben nach unten mit einer Rundpasse gestrickt. Bei einer Rundpasse werden die Zunahmen für die Ärmel, sowie Rücken- und Vorderteil gleichmäßig über die Passe verteilt jeweils innerhalb einer Reihe gestrickt.

Der Jumper kann in zwei Varianten gearbeitet werden. Zum einen mit einer dekorativen Passe aus Patent- und linken Maschen. Bei dieser Variante sind die Zunahmen besonders einfach, da diese durch das Muster auch optisch ersichtlich sind. Saum- und Ärmelsäume erhalten enge Bündchen im Rippenmuster, bei denen die rechten Maschen als Hebemaschen gearbeitet werden. Durch die engen Bündchen fällt der Jumper an den Ärmeln und auf der Hüfte ballonartig.

Die zweite Variante wird ganz schlicht in glatt rechts gestrickt und hat dekorative I-Cord-Kordelkanten am Hals, Saum und Ärmel.

DESCRIPTION
The Maya Jumper is knit top-down with a round yoke. On round yokes, all increases for the sleeves, back
and front are worked evenly one row at a time, on carefully spaced rows as you work down the yoke.
The Sweater can be worked in two ways. One is with a decorative yoke with brioche and purl stitches. With this version, the increases are very easy and evident throughout the pattern.

The lower edge and sleeve cuffs are worked in a tight slipped stitch rib, where the knit stitches are worked slipped with the yarn held in the back. The tight ribs give the jumper a balloon effect on the hips and on the sleeves.

The second variant is knit in stocking stitch and has decorative I-cord edges around the neckline, bottom edge and sleeve cuffs.
