• Light to medium weight yarn of your choice (I used 2 weight mercerised cotton)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 3mm)
• Darning needle
• Scissors (including sharp scissors for cutting tassels)
• Cardboard or other item for making tassels (optional)
• Measuring tape (optional)

Stitches/techniques:

• Slip knot onto hook
• Chain stitch (Ch.)
• Double crochet (DC)
• Double crochet decrease (DC dec.)
• Making tassels (optional)
• Sewing on tassels
