This pattern is a unique mix of stranded colorwork and texture, worked in a tube from left to right of the pattern. A provisional cast on and Kitchener stitch create a seamless finish when joined in the round.

This cowl is inspired by the bee and the value it provides our ecosystem. Centering on humble honey bees, bordered by pollinating flowers, the colorwork transitions into hexagonal repeats full of floral motifs. Texture balances the colorwork by bringing in the Honeycomb stitch for a super squishy finish, with single color Latvian braids visually breaking up each section.
