Memento mori is a latin phrase meaning ‘remember that you have to die’. This cowl feature a deer skull and ribs, fungus that feed on decaying materials and plants that grow better with the nutrients from decomposed animal tissue. Overlooking it all is a crescent moon and cold starlight.
It’s macabre, but also a small reminder to live while you can.
