Welcome to my Meraki Wrap pattern!
This lightly textured and elegant wrap is perfect for so many occasions and seasons. Light enough to keep the chill off your shoulders when wearing a sundress, or ideal for layering with your winter and autumn wardrobe.

For a lighter wrap, I use fingering/4ply yarn; for a heavier, warmer version, DK/8ply yarn is ideal.
This wrap is fully adjustable to suit any length or width — the yarn requirements listed are for the size I made, so you may need to adjust accordingly if altering dimensions.

Meraki is a Greek word that means:
To do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work.

I hope you enjoy making this wrap, and feel the heart in every stitch. May it become a piece that not only warms your shoulders, but also carries your own Meraki within it.

Live, Love, and Crochet,
Shaz xo

Skill Level:
Confident Beginner

Finished Size (unblocked):
Approx. 200 cm long x 40 cm wide

Pattern Construction:
There are 2 panels that create the different textures and weaves for this wrap. The first is an open shell pattern and the second is a Smock ST.

Tools Required:
4mm Crochet Hook for 4ply yarn, 5mm hook for 8 ply yarn.
Scissors, Pins, Yarn Needle, ST Markers

Yarn Requirements:
100% cotton. Any 4 to 8 ply will work.
For the Wrap
I’ve used Natural Fibre Arts Merino/Silk/Yak fingering weight/4ply yarn.
C1 (Tanami)- 100gms/366m x 3 making a total of 1098m
C2 (Jazz) - 100gms/366m x 2 making a total of 732m
(One colour you would need approximately 1800m to 2000m)
Tester Wrap
The testers used Scheepjes Whirls which are a cotton/acrylic blend fingering weight/4ply yarn with 1000m in each cake. Two were used for the full wrap equating to 2000m of yarn.
Scarf 1: using Scheepjes Whirl
This used just short of 1000m of 4ply cotton.
Scarf 2: using Adagio Mills 70% Australian Alpaca and 30% Merino 4ply yarn - 100g /320m

Further Information for making a Scarf, Cowl or Infinity Scarf are in the pattern.

The pattern includes clear, easy-to-follow instructions written in English for both UK and US terms, plus plenty of helpful photos to guide you through each step.
