Meredith Hat
The Meredith Hat knitting pattern is a quick-to-knit beginner project taking only a few hours to complete using chunky (bulky) yarn. An easy to follow pattern, knit with 6 mm or 6.5 mm knitting needles. The broken rib textured stitch pattern comprises of knit and purl stitches.
Materials
Finer chunky yarn:
2 50g balls Bergère de France Mérinos 7 (100% Merino, 171 m/187 yrds) – pictured in ‘Cappuccino’
A pair of 6 mm (UK 4, US 10) knitting needles
Thicker chunky yarn:
1 100g ball Malabrigo Chunky (100% Merino, 95 m/104 yrds) - pictured in ‘Applewood’
A pair of 6.5 mm (UK 3, US 10.5) knitting needles
