This Mermaid Hooded Cowl is sure to make a splash at any age. It’s fun for dress up and Halloween, and warm enough for everyday wear. The optional neck warmer insert keeps ages 1 to 99 cozy through cold winter months.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Cozy Wool, Loops & Threads (super bulky) in Spearmint, 2 skeins for 1 to 3 years, 3 skeins for all other sizes, plus Impeccable, Loops & Threads in Lujo and Gold
• Yardage: About 290 to 350 yds
• Hook: M/N (9.0mm) and H (5.0mm)
• Tools: Sewing needle · Scissors
• To finish like the sample: A button or brooch embellishment

• 1 to 3 years (4 to 7 years, 8 to 12 years, teen/adult)
• Top to bottom of hood opening: 10 (11, 12, 13)“
• Depth of hood: 9 (10, 11, 12)“
• Total length: 16 (17, 18, 18)“
