The Coppola Split Brim Hat is a whimsical cold weather hat finished with guided surface stitching. I’m not going to let you do those swirls blind! Chain 1 spaces show you exactly where to go, so have no fear.

Sizes run from newborn to large adult, and it’s part of the matching Coppola set.

✨ What makes it work

• Guided surface stitching. Chain 1 spaces mark the path for the swirls.
• Pompom on top. Because every winter hat deserves one.
• Six sizes. Newborn to large adult.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Rios, Malabrigo (worsted), 145 to 300 yds depending on size. Colors shown: Indiecita (A), Natural (B)
• Hook: H (5.0mm)
• Tools: Scissors · Yarn Needle · Medium pompom maker

✿ Sizes

• Newborn (6 Month, Baby 12 to 18 Month, Child, Adult, Adult Large)
• Height, laid flat: 5 ½ (6 ½, 7 ½, 10 ½, 11, 12)“
• Width, laid flat: 8 ½ (9, 10, 10 ½, 11, 11)“
