The back and front of this vest is knitted flat from the bottom up.
You can sew the shoulders normal or with an invisible seam as kitchener stich.
The rib neck is knitted with circular needles.
It is tied with icords on the sides.

SIZE GUIDE
The sizes are designed to fit a bust circumference of:
(80-85) 85-90 (95-100) 100-105 (110-115) 120-125 cm
(20-22) 22-23 (24-25) 25-27 (28-29) 30-32 inches

Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or wherever you are the widest) to determine which size will fit you the best.
For example, I have a chest circumference of 87 cm - 34.25 inches, and I knitted a size 2.

GAUGE
4” / 10cm = 18.5 stitches x 24 rows, with 5.00mm needles in the pattern used to make the vest, after blocking. This is similar to knit a swatch in stockinette stitch, but I highly recommend to knit the swatch in the stitch described in the pattern.

YARN
Held triple, I used:

Two strands of My Knitted Closet – The Merino Tweed: 100% merino wool | 50 g, 350 meters 383 yards.
Balls: (3, 4, 4) (4, 5, 5).
Meters: (922, 1,094, 1,176) (1,314, 1,460, 1,546).
Yards: (1,008, 1,198, 1,286) (1,436, 1,596, 1,692).

One strand of My Knitted Closet – The Silk Mohair: 75% mohair, 25% silk | 25 g, 210 meters 230 yards. Worked as a single strand, therefore the required quantity is half of the previous yarn.
Balls: (3, 3, 3) (4, 4, 4).
Meters: (461, 546, 588) (657, 730, 773).
Yards: (504, 597, 643) (718, 798, 846).
NEEDLES
Circular needles: 5 mm + 80 cm / US 8 + 32”
To make ribs: 4.50mm + 40 cm / US 7 + 16”

NOTIONS
Cable needle or DPN to make cables. Stitch marker to mark the beginning of round (used just in the neck rib). Tapestry needle to weave in ends, scissors, tape measure, or ruler.

La espalda y el delantero del chaleco están tejidos en plano.
Puedes hacer costura invisible en los hombros o coserlos normal.
El elástico del cuello está tejido con agujas circulares.
Los cordones que atan los laterales del chaleco son i-cords tejidos en punto.

GUÍA DE TALLAS
Las tallas están diseñadas para ajustarse a un contorno de:

Antes de empezar, mídete con una cinta métrica a la altura del pecho o donde sea mayor tu contorno, para asegurarte de la talla.
Por ejemplo, yo tengo un contorno de pecho de For example 87 cm - 34.25” y he tejido la talla 2.

MUESTRA
4” / 10cm = 18.5 puntos x 24 vueltas, con agujas de 5.00mm / US 8, tejido en el punto del patrón, después de bloquear.
Es una medida similar a si haces la muestra en punto liso/jersey, pero te recomiendo que la hagas en el punto descrito en el patrón.

HILO
A hebra triple, he usado

Dos hebras de My Knitted Closet - The Merino Tweed: 100% lana merino | 50 gr, 350 metros 383 yardas.
Ovillos: (3, 4, 4)(4, 5, 5).
Metros: (922, 1.094, 1.176) (1.314, 1.460, 1.546).
Yardas: (1.008, 1.198, 1.286) (1.436, 1.596, 1.692).

Una hebra de My Knitted Closet - The Silk Mohair: 75% mohair 25% seda | 25 gr, 210 metros 230 yardas. Se teje a una sola hebra, por eso la cantidad es la mitad que del hilo anterior.
Ovillos: (3, 3, 3)(4, 4, 4).
Metros: (461, 546, 588) (657 , 730, 773) metros.
Yardas: (504, 597, 643) (718, 798, 846) yardas.

AGUJAS
Agujas circulares: 5mm + 80 cm / US 8 + 32”
Para el elástico del bajo y del cuello: 4.50mm + 40 cm / US 7 + 16”

Extras
Aguja auxiliar para tejer cables.
Marcador para marcar el inicio de la vuelta, solo se usa en el cuello.
Aguja lanera para rematar cabos y coser.
Tijeras, cinta métrica.

TECNICAS UTILIZADAS
Montar puntos
Cierre tubular o cualquier cierre elástico (hay dos cierres en elástico explicados en el patrón, con vídeos)
Tejer del derecho y del revés
Tejer cables
Aumento m1L (está explicado en el patrón, con vídeo)
Puedes coser los hombros con costura invisible haciendo kitchener stitch o coser normal.
Tejer un cordón o icord (está explicado en el patrón)
