Have you ever wanted to harness the power & beauty of a thunderstorm? This cowl is dyed by the colors & spun from the textures of a Thunder Storm. Beginning with the thunderhead clouds, I picked one skein of Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles Potluck that would fade well into the electric colors of Bounce for my base yarns. I also wanted to use Hedgehog Fibres new Feather yarn to give my cowl a static charged jolt. Gathering scraps of Feather and other lace-weight yarns to be scattered at random rows of this knit provided; a halo from the Kidsilk Lace, a bit fluff from the Feather, and a sparkle from my own hand dyed yarn that contained shimmery fibers. This versatile project would be so fun to create with a dozen colors of scraps from other fade projects or mini skeins too. I used Envy as my Feather color.
The sky is the limit, happy knitting!
