Mező is a beautiful late summer shawl, soft and comforting. It’s a large asymmetric triangle shawl and relaxing to knit. Mező means “meadow” in Hungarian.

Yarn
Three skein Lana Grossa Ecopuno (72 % Cotton, 17 % Virgin wool Merino, 11 % Alpaca; 215 m /235 yards per 50 g). Shown in colourway peach (07). Or similar sport weight yarn.

Needle
Size 4mm / US 6 circular needle, 100 cm / 40 inch long.

Gauge
22 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches on US 6 / 4 mm needles after blocking.
Note: obtaining the gauge given is not crucial for a successful project but will affect the finished size and the yardage needed.

Finished measurements
Approximately 173 cm / 68 in (top edge) x 70 cm / 27.5 in (depth), after blocking.
