Mingle Medley derives its name from being a mixture of lace, colorwork (stranded knitting), and texture that mingle together to create an appealing, eye-catching cowl. It can be worn looped once or twice around your neck.

Mingle Medley consists of three simplistic, yet interesting panels that are alternately knit. Two colors are used and are also alternated. A garter ridge separates the panels. However, the possibilities are endless as you can choose to knit your whole cowl in just one panel pattern or two, one color or three, or change up the number of repeats to make it wider, shorter, or longer. This versatile cowl begins with a provisional cast on and features a hatch stitch edging.

The pattern consists of both written and charted instructions.

For the advanced beginner knitter, Mingle Medley is an excellent pattern to try your hand at knitting lace, stranded knitting, and using purls and knits for texture.

For the more accomplished knitter, the variety of stitch pattern and color in Mingle Medley as well as its adaptability will hold your interest.
