These little cuties are just so adorable, whip up in no time, and can be fun for humans of all ages. Made without eyes, they are perfect for newborns and tiny toddlers. You can make them with any yarn you choose; any weight, fiber, color and eye selection make the possibilities endless.

What you need:
• Worsted or Aran weight (approx. ~ 30 g/55 yards) in any yarn you prefer. Your weight selection will affect the final size. Cotton, wool, acrylic & blends are all great options. And all colors seem to work too! (My favorite yarns to use: Universal Clean Cotton, Creative Mélange Chunky, Berroco Ultra Wool and Malabrigo Rios)
• Crochet hook size USF-5(3.75mm) or appropriate hook size to maintain tight stitches for amigurumi pieces.
• safety eyes (optional); no eyes are a great choice to avoid choking hazard, I like 8-10 mm eyes for worsted weight octopuses, it’s all up to you!!
• Handful of polyfil stuffing (approx. 8 g)
• Tapestry needle & stitch marker

Stitches used:
• Single crochet (sc)
• Half Double crochet (hdc)
• Single crochet increase (inc)
• Single crochet decrease (dec)
• Slip Stitch (sl st)
