These mini knitted pumpkins are perfect to give out as gifts or make a variety of colors and fill a bowl. Two styles of ribbing and three sizes make it easy to make your own custom mini pumpkin patch.

These are also a perfect size to use as a Thanksgiving Table decoration. Attach a little name tag to the stem of each pumpkin and they become a place card and a gift to take home.

Great for Beginners! All you need to be able to do is Knit and Purl to get started. This is a great pattern to use to learn to knit with double pointed or flexible double pointed needles. If you haven’t tried flexible double points, there are a lot of inexpensive options available online that make knitting tiny things easy.

Quick - These knit up quickly, so you can make a few while watching your favorite fall movie. My husband was in the hospital with a heart issue (that resolved) and I nervously knit a bunch of these little pumpkins and the nurses were delighted with them as a little gift! I’ve been carrying them in my purse to give to baristas and receptionists.

Scrap friendly! With one 100g skein of yarn you can knit an entire patch of these pumpkins. They are excellent for scraps. At any point if you are close to the number of rows required and running out of yarn you can just make a shorter pumpkin.

Yarn: Use any worsted or light worsted yarn. These work well with Cascade 220 but my knitting students used a range of worsted yarns and they all looked great.
