This little race car pattern is part of a CAL that I have been running. This little car is from Part 5 of the CAL. This mini race car is great for using up small amounts of yarn and quick to work up. I have created two slightly different versions of this pattern. This first version is worked with single crochet stitches in rounds with a change in direction at the end of each round to create a firmer structure for the car and to keep the stitches better aligned.

You can make an even smaller car using a smaller hook size. I created the smallest race cars using a 2.25 mm hook. The smaller race cars in the photos are about 2 inches long.
