This shawlette was designed to show the drape and sheen of sport weight Mirasol Nuna by contrasting with stripes of Mirasol Sulka Legato, a light fingering weight. Although the two yarns differ in weight, knitting this striped pattern at a loose gauge provides a contrast in hard and soft – airy, light fabric with angular stripes. This piece is constructed from neck edge, increasing to bottom edge.

Yarn A: 50 gram hank Mirasol Nuna
Yarn B: 50 gram hank Mirasol Sulka Legato
Yarn C: 50 gram hank Mirasol Nuna

Circular needle, 32” US size 6, or size needed for gauge

Gauge: Not critical, but you do want a loose, airy fabric. The finished piece measured about 4.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stripe pattern.
Finished size is 60” wingspan x 17” at center point.

Pattern has been reformatted and updated as of October 13, 2015. Sample shown used Nuna #61 for Yarn A, Sulka Legato #06 for Yarn B, and Nuna #59 for Yarn C
