Presentación

Los mitones Almena nacieron como complemento a la banda para el pelo del mismo nombre. Es un proyecto adictivo y relajante que te permitirá dar un paso adelante en la práctica del colourwork.

Materiales

Lana: Unos 50 55, 60 g (245 265, 285 m) de lana en grosor light fingering (425 m por 100 g), distribuidos así:
C1 unos 26 29, 31 g (130 140, 150 m).
C2 unos 24 26, 29 g (115 125, 135 m).
Para la muestra he usado Burnt Orange (C1) y Havregryn (C2) de Knitting for Olive Merino.

Agujas:
2,75 mm o de la medida necesaria para obtener la muestra de tensión para los mitones.
2,25 mm para los dobladillos o 0,5 mm más pequeña que la aguja principal.

Otros: marcadores de punto, tijeras, aguja lanera, lana de descarte.

Técnicas

Este patrón asume que la persona que va a tejerlo está familiarizada con tejer en circular, hacer puntos del derecho, puntos del revés y trabajar con varios colores.

Medidas

Contorno: Este patrón incluye 3 tallas de contorno de mano, medido a la altura de los nudillos, denominadas 1, 2 y 3.

Medidas finales: Escoge una talla sin holgura o con una holgura negativa de 1 cm.

Introduction

These fingerless mitts were born as a complement to the headband of the same name. It is both relaxing and addictive and it will take you a step forward in the practice of this technique.

Materials

Yarn: About 50 55, 60 g (245 265, 285 m) of light fingering weight yarn (425 m per 100 g):
C1 approximately 26 29, 31 g (130 140, 150 m).
C2 approximately 24 26, 29 g (115 125, 135 m).
The sample is made using Knitting for Olive Merino in the Burnt Orange (C1) and Havregryn (C2) colourways.

Needles:
for the mitts: 2.75 mm or the size required to get gauge.
for the hems: 2.25 mm, or 0.5 mm smaller than the main one.

Other: stitch markers, scissors, darning needle, scrap yarn.

Techniques

This pattern assumes that the person knitting it is familiar with knitting, purling, making increases and decreases as well as with the basics of colorwork

Sizes

Girth: This pattern includes three sizes, called 1, 2 and 3. To determine your size, measure the girth of your hand around the knuckles and pick a size with no ease or with a negative ease of 1 cm.
