Agujas recomendadas
Mini agujas circulares (23 cm) de 3 mm (US 2 ½) para los elásticos y mini agujas circulares de 3’5 mm (US 4) para el cuerpo del mitón. Para trabajar el pulgar necesitarás agujas de doble punta o agujas circulares con un cable de al menos 60 cm para trabajar la técnica de magic loop. Joplin is a city in Missouri located along historical Route 66. On the outskirts lies the Missouri–Kansas border, the setting for the book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. In this picturesque place you can find “the yellow brick road,” the very path Dorothy had to follow to reach the Emerald City.
The Joplin mitts are knitted from the bottom up, and its texture recalls the yellow brick road. You will begin by knitting the cuff, then you will work the body of the mitten, and once it is complete, you will pick up stitches to create the thumb.
