Mitts in Minutes
These easy fingerless gloves/mitts are great for quick gifts or a satisfying fast knit. Make them for yourself, your family, or friends! The gloves are pretty stretchy, and will fit a few different sizes. They don’t use a ton of yarn, so they are great for leftovers or mini skeins. Have fun knitting them up in any color or yarn!
Yarn: I used Berroco Vintage Worsted 218 yards in color Douglas Fir. You only need a little less than half (100 yards) to make these gloves, and any dk weight yarn would work well also as long as you can achieve gauge.
Needles: size 5 US (3.75 mm) dpns or circular knitting needles for Magic Loop, or size needed to get gauge.
Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rounds over 4 inches in stockinette stitch in the round using size 5 US (3.75 mm) knitting needles, or size needed to get gauge.
Sizes: these gloves are very versatile and will fit most: Adult S, M, and L. (7”, 7.75” and 8.5”)
