MK#78 Baby Cardigan
This minimal knits | DESIGNED seamless baby cardigan is made top down with integrated neck and button bands, and when the knitting is finished all we have to do is weave in the ends and sew on the buttons.
We do a rib neckband, hem and sleeve cuffs, and the buttonhole edges are a little bit of garter with a stocking stitch down the middle. We also do a row of eyelets below the neckband, after the end of the yoke, and above the hem and sleeve cuffs, and work the rest with simple stocking stitch.
Depending on your yarn colour and button choices it will be suitable for a baby girl or boy.
The cardigan was made using Bombed Yarns hand dyed DK/ 8ply Dynamite 100% wool in the colour Scandinavian Grass.
Skill Level Easy… even though it might include a technique you haven’t used before, the pattern contains simple, straightforward instructions and notes on where to look for more information.
