MK#80 Baby Pullover
This minimal knits | DESIGNED seamless baby vee-neck pullover is made top down, starting with a seedy neckband, and the hem and sleeve cuffs are rib. All the rest is stocking stitch except just after finishing the yoke we start creating the picture of a star with purls in the next 33 rounds.
When the knitting is finished all we have to do is flatten the neckband and the star area, which I do with steam from the iron, then weave in the ends.
Depending on your yarn colour and button choices it will be suitable for a baby girl or boy.
The pictured pullover was made using Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply/Fingering Sock Yarn (75% wool, 24% nylon) in the colour Blue Jeans.
Skill Level Easy… even though it might include a technique you haven’t used before, the pattern contains simple, straightforward instructions and notes on where to look for more information.
