MK#82 Scarf
This minimal knits | DESIGNED MK#82 scarf can be made with about 400 metres – 438 yards of: 50 grams of gorgeous 2ply/lace kid mohair plus silk, or 100 grams of gorgeous 4ply/fingering/sock yarn, or 200 grams of gorgeous 8ply/DK yarn.
This scarf has curved edges, so it sits comfortably around our neck and shoulders.
This crescent shaped scarf drapes beautifully, looks the same on both sides – front and back, left and right - can be worn in all sorts of ways, and is quick to knit because the pattern uses needles larger than is standard for the yarn.
Most of the rows are just knits, with the loopy increases on every row, but aside from the first 3 rows, the centre section repeatedly has 2 rows of knits, then two rows with knits and purls. Casting off can include beads, like the one you can see here. Casting off can include beads, like the one you can see here.
