A recent trip to Amsterdam had me becoming very obsessed with a style of wrap/shawl I was seeing everyone wear: a chunky stockinette fabric with a tentacle-like fringe. I don’t usually jump on fashion bandwagons, but I was very taken with the mix of classic simplicity and a fun, slightly weird embellishment. I knew it would be easy to make AND wear!

Yarn
1 x Skein Yarn All Rounder 80% Merino/20% Nylon 400yd/365m Earthenware
2 x Skein Yarn ACM 38% Baby Alpaca/27% Pima Cotton/25% Merino 437yd/400m Cocoa Bean
I held three strands of yarn together (2 strands of ACM and 1 strand of All Rounder) throughout the whole project.

Other Info
6mm circular needles (any length is fine).
Blocked Gauge: 16 stitches/20 rows over 4”/10cm.
Blocked size = 67”/1.7m long and 12”/31cm wide.
Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
OPTIONAL 6mm crochet hook to chain the fringe.
