The Moe Camisole is a beautiful strappy top which features a sweetheart neckline, designed to be used as both an undergarment and a basic piece for a summer outfit.

As a result of being worked in a fingering weight yarn with 3.25 mm (US3) needles, the fabric resulting from the Moe Camisole is light, airy and flowy perfect for wearing next to the skin during the high temperatures months.

The shaping in the waist is a very thoughtful detail, which makes this piece a very flattering garment, as well as the increases of the bust cups, which is the basis for the lovely sweetheart neckline, and is customizable to the bust size of the final user.

And finally, the hip length of the Moe Camisole allows you to wear it effortlessly tucked inside bottom pieces, but you will find additional instructions to work it to waist length as well.

About the pattern

The camisole is worked from the bottom-up in rib stitch. The pattern is divided into four sections: The hip - waist section, the waist – under-bust section, the bust, and the straps.

The workflow starts with casting on stitches and working decreases in the front and the back of the camisole to contour the waist. Then, we will continue working the section between the waist and the under-bust and immediately start the increases to shape the bust forms. Afterwards, short rows will be added to form the sweetheart neckline. The Y straps will be constructed by picking up stitches from both ends of each bust and working them individually in double knitting for a few centimeters, then joining both straps (the two straps on each extreme of one bust) and knitting them until we reach the desired length, sewing them then to the back and repeating the process for the second bust to complete this knitting project.

For this design, we have prepared written directions, charts and video tutorials linked to the Techniques list, to ensure that the pattern is understandable for knitters of every level.
