The very definition of an elevated basic, the Mohair Boatneck is knitted on a chunky knitting machine. Its simplicity allows the beauty of the yarn to shine, and also makes for quick, straightforward knitting. It is an ideal first garment to machine knit; more experienced knitters will enjoy the ease with which it comes together.

The jumper is knitted in four pieces. With a drop shoulder silhouette and a boatneck it requires minimal shaping, and yet it suits all body types.

The pattern is written specifically to be beginner friendly. It contains guiding notes, diagrams and detailed measurements, as well as a section on working with mohair. It also provides ideas for future knits based on the pattern.

It has been tech edited and test knitted.
