What can you do with 2 balls of cotton yarn? How about a little handbag with lace pattern? I love this light olive green color and want to make something quick and easy, I also have an extra strap from a handbag that matches the yarn color, so here is my solution - the little Molly bag!

The lace/cable pattern is knitted in rounds for this bag. It looks delicate but is so easy to knit, it’ll probably take just a few hours to finish.

Then I add a crochet edging for the slightly ‘slimmed’ top of the bag, and a crochet tab with one button for closure and one for decoration. A fun project for the weekend!
