MOLLY MAX is a classic dog sweater with a distinctive cable
pattern, giving the sweater a simple yet striking look.

Dogs come in many sizes and proportions, so Molly Max is
designed to allow fit adjustments as you go. When choosing
a size, base your decision on the dog’s chest measurement.
Throughout the pattern, you’ll find several opportunities to
adjust the length, so the sweater fits your dog perfectly. For that
reason, I recommend trying the sweater on your dog during
knitting.

I knitted my own Molly Max for my standard dachshund, who
has a long body, so I lengthened the sweater to fit her shape.
The pattern describes all the customization options, which will
hopefully make it easy to find the solution that suits your dog.

Molly Max is worked top-down, starting at the neck edge and
ending at the tail. Along the way, the sweater is shaped to fit
your dog’s body. The sweater is finished with a rib edge at the
bottom, plus small rib edges around the front legs.

This is a smaller project, but with plenty of variety along the
way, making Molly Max a fun and varied project to knit.
