My mom is a prolific gardener, to the point where she has a green hand, not just a green thumb! When she downsized from a house to a condo, the thing she missed the most was her garden. This cowl serves as a reminder of her favourite garden flowers.

This cowl is knit flat, on the bias. The flowers are created with slipped stitches. This is a perfect “stash buster” project for those pesky leftover bits of worsted weight yarn.

Finished size: 24.5” around x 8.5” long, unblocked

Needles: 4.5 mm circular needles, 24” long or longer

Gauge: 20 sts per 4” in stockinette stitch
Pattern size can be modified using a multiple of 4+3 stitches but may affect final rows.

Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn (80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon) – 11 x 14 grams, ordered Colours B-L; 1 x 115 gram skein (Colour A)
