The irresistible urge to create and knit something as wonderfully textured as this hits me once in a while. It appears quilted, but isn’t, yet is so soft and plush to the touch. Its namesake comes from a duology by Brigitte Knightley (Dearly Beloathed). They quickly became some of my favorite books this year, so commemorating them with a pattern seems appropriate. The Monafyll Stone is a magical artifact that plays a central role in the story.

Photo and video tutorials are included in the pattern.
