Moonstones Cowl
Moonstones Cowl is a lightweight cowl, perfect for spring and fall. It has a lovely alternating eyelet pattern sequence that gives it a soft and airy texture.
This pattern comes in three sizes: 1, 2, and 3. Size 1 requires a minimum of 100g/400 yards, sizes 2, and 3 will need a minimum of 200g/800 yards of fingering weight yarn to achieve the length desired.
The gauge is loose and not strict, it should be a very draped fit.
You will need to weigh your yarn before casting on, after youʼve knit your ribbing, and first 3 rows of stockinette stitches to determine when you need to stop the pattern sequence and begin the ribbing again and bind off. The desired length for all sizes should be between 12-18.”
Before beginning the ribbing and bind off, make sure you knit 3 rounds after a yarn over round.
Gauge
Although the gauge is not a strict one, I included my gauge for you to have. 32 stitches and 36 rows over 4” / 10cm of the pattern sequence.
