Mother Nature
Due to the fact that this doll can stand on her own, she will either make a beautiful addition to your display or nature table; or as a stand alone doll for play!
She is constructed out of sport-weight cotton yarn, with her hair made of fingering-weight yarn. We originally used Knit Picks Cotton Organic Sport for her body, though the colour used is no longer available. Any similar weight cotton would be appropriate.
The hair is made from Knit Picks Palette in Doe.
We have since substituted Patons Grace in Natural for the body, and Tan for the hair.
Embroidery floss was used for her eyes and mouth, and cotton handsewing thread was used for the seaming.
The patterns for her clothes are to follow, and she was designed so that she wears a different outfit for each season; instead of having to make four seperate dolls!
