This little yeti was a gift for my Secret Santa recipient this year. He is a quick knit and moderately simple knit. I found this brushed suri at Purl Soho, and immediately thought that it looked and felt as though it had been spun directly from a yeti. It’s so soft!

Mr Abominable was the most obvious choice of monster to knit this winter. While suffering through the worst winter in recorded history, I sat huddled under a quilt on the couch with my needles, occasionally catching a glimpse out the window of Mr. Abominable himself, shoveling my driveway for me. Of course, that could have been my kind and helpful landlord. With that kind of wind and snow, everyone winds up looking like a yeti.
