These socks were designed as a prize for “Color” category of “Sock Challenge Cup” contest.

One sock is knitted cuff-down while other is toe-up. Both socks feature star toe and peasant heel of star fashion.
Stitch pattern combines horizontal tiers of stranded leaves with vertical stems which are crocheted afterwards.

Techniques Used:

Yarn Usage:
MC (Zwerger Garn Opal Solids 4-ply): 186 yds (170 m)
CC1 (Regia Mosaik Color 4-ply): 101 yds (93 m)
CC2 (Zitron Trekking Sport): 92 yds (84 m)

Note on yarn substitution
For CC1 pick up variegated sock yarn with very short sections, or self-striping sock yarn with long gradual color transitions.
