Mushy Tote is a ‘knitters must’ bag designed to be felted in the washing machine for a dense, sturdy finish. Worked seamless in the round from the bottom up, this project is ideal for adventurous beginners looking to experiment with wet felting!

Materials Needed:
Yarn: worsted or aran weight 100% non-superwash wool (approx. 520 –550 meters).
Do not use superwash wool, acrylic, or plant fibers, as they will not felt.
Needles: 5 mm (US 8)circular needles (24” or 32”)

Gauge is not critical, but a loose, open fabric is essential to allow room for fibers to shrink and felt.
