This richly textured, heavy afghan is sure to keep anyone warm on even the coldest winter nights! Sized for a twin bed, the afghan is worked from side to side in one piece.

Yarn requirements: approximately 2400 yds of worsted weight yarn

Please note that folks are reporting that when working the pattern as written, the finished dimensions are smaller than the stated dimensions in the pattern. To increase the length of your blanket, begin with a longer starting chain, adding multiples of 6 stitches to your chain. You can also add more rows to your end panels, if desired to create a longer blanket. My end panels were approximately 4 inches deep. Working up a small swatch using all the stitches will give you the opportunity to customize your blanket to suit your own desire.
