Murder! It’s not something that might be your first thought when you look for a knitting pattern. However, I have been inspired by Karen & Georgia the amazing voices behind one of my favourite podcasts, My Favorite Murder, to create this pattern.

In designing this wrap pattern, I let different quotes from the catalogue of episodes inspire the design elements. This wrap is knit in two identical pieces & then connected via a three-needle bind-off using design elements from cables to lace to texture.

So Knitterinos, queue up the podcast, grab your yarn & needles, & stay sexy & don’t get murdered. Happy Knitting!

Pattern is written for knitting flat. The wrap is knit in 2 identical pieces and then connected using a three-needle bind-off to create 1 long wrap.

The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: i-cord cast-on, knit, k2tog, kfb, purl, SK2P, ssk, slipping stitches knitwise & purlwise, SSKPO, yo, cables, & three-needle bind-off. Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern.

This pattern includes instructions in written form & charted form.

I’d like to express my immense gratitude to the creators of My Favorite Murder for their entertaining work. This design would never have been possible without their inspiration.

Huge thanks to my amazing test knitters: Ann (EAnnRN), Ann (roocmc), Beth (MDQuilter), Betsy (Quillpen), Lisa (ByHisGrc), Lizi (Lizicee), Mary (mgladue), & Sheila (knittinkittin2)! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
