My First Knitted Pumpkins
PATTERN LEVEL: BEGINNER (must know how to knit in-the-round using double pointed needles or circular needles with the magic loop technique)
These super simple pumpkins are the perfect first stuffed project for beginner knitters! You only need to know how to knit, purl and work in-the-round using circular needles or double-pointed needles.
For this project you’ll need:
Suggested materials:
- 4.5 mm circular needles or double-pointed needles with medium weight yarn (4/Worsted) in two colours for the pumpkin and for the stem
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Stuffing fibre
- Tapestry needle or darning needle
- Doll needle (optional to make it easier to cross through the middle of the pumpkins)
Yarn information:
For this project, I used:
* Medium weight yarn (4/Worsted) Caron Simply Soft 100% acrylic from Yarnspirations in the colour Pumpkin and Taupe
My abbreviations:
- CO - cast on
- ST - stitch
- K - knit
- P - purl
- ( )xNUMBER - number of times you have to repeat everything inside the brackets
