First time Lucky! Or so that’s my hope with my first pattern design, My Lucky Shawl. With subtle four leaf clover textured shapes in two sections and long wavy garter stitch short row, this pattern has just enough detail to keep you engaged. Simple enough for an experience beginner to an intermediate knitter. Gauge is not crucial, so needle sizes and yarn substitutions can be made to suit your size or preference.

This shawl can be worn top down around your neck or bottom up as a triangle shawl.

The yarn in the sample shawl is Yarn Cafe Creations Fluffy Sock yarn, a 75 merino, 25 nylon fingering weight yarn. The samples colors shown are in St. Patrick’s Day themed colors. Yarn used for the sample was just under half of each skein - so three skeins can make two shawls!

Instructions include both charts for the textured portion as well as row by row instructions for knitters who aren’t comfortable with charts.

Hope you enjoy! Good luck!
