This shawl is knit sideways, increasing on one side till you have worked through 2 skeins or half of your yarn. Once you have reached the halfway point of your shawl you will start decreasing.

The use of slip stitches creates a beautiful icord edging on both sides of this shawl and at the end you will use your US 13 needle to create two 3 stitch I-cords ties to add a beautiful finished bow to snuggly yourself into this shawl with.
