Myrtille is knitted seamlessly from the top down, with a flared shape that covers the shoulders. A beginner-friendly project: every technique is explained step by step. Reversible, with an optional turtleneck version.

Three stitch options: 1×1 rib (the easiest), Myrtille stitch (a textured rib) or fisherman’s rib (shown in the photos).

Sizes: 1 / 2 / 3. Neck circumference 47 / 52 / 61 cm (18.5 / 20.5 / 24 in); height 28 / 32 / 35 cm (11 / 12.5 / 13.75 in).

Yarn: 2 strands held together:

1 skein of Wooliette fingering (Cybele, Bimba, Yalux or Perla);
1 skein of Doucette, kid mohair and silk.
Mohair-free options are given in the pattern.

Needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular, 40 cm (16 in) cable.
