Mystery Sock August 2018 Designers’ Sock Drawer Group.

Clue#1 is available on 8/1/18..

Sizing: S (M, L) to fit foot circumference 8 (9, 10) inches, 20 (23, 25) cm. Sock pattern is knit with negative ease. Finished unstretched circumference at ball of foot: ~ 6 (7, 8) inches, ~15 (18, 20) cm. Stretchiness of sock will be similar to a stockinette sock.

Needle: Sock was worked using magic loop method on single circular needle size 2 mm. You will also need either double-point needle of same size or another circular of same size.

Gauge in stockinette on 2.0 mm needle: 9.25 stitches/12.5 rows per inch; 3.6 stitches/5 rows per cm.

Yarn: For a pair of socks, you will need a 100 gram skein of fingering weight sock yarn. Amount may vary by size and length of leg.

Other: some stitch markers, blunt darning needle.
