Our Spring 2019 Mystery Sock KAL was so much fun! The mystery is over now, but the full pattern is available for download.

Description: The decade of Eighties music was categorized by Hard Metal, Glam, Pop, and all sub-varieties of Hair Bands. Even the fictional band, Spinal Tap, shaped the decade’s music into a memorable celebration of anthems, riffs, costumes, and hairstyles. “It Goes To Eleven” became the term for taking sound to the next level. Bigger. Louder. Outside the boundaries of the norm. In this design, we’ll be taking our socks To Eleven, and of course, they will be Totally Tubular.

This pattern was originally presented in a series of Seven Weekly Clues that kept our knitters entertained and maybe even taught them a new trick or two! The pattern contains instructions in text and charts, and, as always, there is video support to help you with techniques that might be new to you. The pattern is written for three sizes:

  • Narrow Width: 6.0 - 7.5 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Medium Width: 7.5 - 9.5 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • Wide Width: 9.5 - 11 inch circumference at ball of foot
  • And foot length is determined by the knitter.
