Nanahachi
I named this leg/arm warmer pattern “Nanahachi “ coz wearing these takes me back to the mid 2000s when I was a teen and obsessed with the Ai Yazawa classic “Nana” and the alt fashions of those days. It’s pretty interesting to see them coming back into style now!
-
These legwarmers are worked on the round, you can use circular needles + the magic loop method, or DPNs, whichever you prefer :)
-
Make sure you use a stretchy cast on and cast off, I used a very loose simple cable cast on and “Jenny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off” for my pair.
-
You can definitely customize these legwarmers to fit smaller/bigger calves, just take your own calf measurement and knit your legwarmers around 2 inches smaller than that measurement to get similar results. You can also add/subtract rows to adjust length as well.
-
I recommend a light and stretchy yarn for this project, I used a DK milk cotton.
-
