Nartelle is a bottom-up cardigan worked in a colorful mosaic stitch pattern, with twisted rib borders and double knitting button bands (because honestly, they’re just that beautiful). Shoulders are joined with a three-needle bind-off, the neckband is worked in twisted rib, and the sleeves are knit in the round and finished with a tubular bind-off for a clean, comfortable edge that holds its shape over time.

The body and sleeves follow a mosaic sequence charted in the pattern, one color at a time, no stranded knitting. The result is bold, textured, and a lot more fun to knit than it looks.
