This boot warmer design incorporates ‘Waves & Chain’ pattern stitch and ‘Scroll Cable’ pattern stitch to add texture and interest to the garment.

I have not suggested a gauge / tension for this knit. I recommend using 3 mm and 3.25mm size dpns for a comfortable fit - the boot warmers can be tucked under / inside or worn over your favourite boots. Wear them ‘straight-up’ or ‘slouchy’ depending on your outfit or mood.

I recommend a 4 ply / fingering weight sock yarn - my design has been knitted using 150g / 500m of Easy Knits ‘Big Boy’ yarn in ‘Nude’.

This design would look good too, knitted in one of this season’s on-trend colours, of silver / smokey grey or dusky / winter rose. The boot warmers would look good paired with your favourite corduroy skinny trousers or skirt - another trend for this season (especially in the UK).

Thinking ahead to the Holiday / Christmas Season, start your gift knitting early - these boot warmers would make an ideal present for the teens or ‘young-at-heart’ hipsters in your life.

Hope you enjoy my latest design - ‘Happy Knitting’ everyone :)

Don’t forget to post pictures of your projects - I’d love to see them.
