This shawl was inspired by the scrumptious ice cream of the same
name, and one of Bryony’s favourites.

It is a triangular shawl knit from the top down with 3 alternating colours, in bands of stocking stitch and garter stitch. It is a simple and relaxed knit, ideal for a new knitter but equally as fun for a more experienced one. It has a pretty central spine of yarn over increases and an elegant border of ribbing.

You will need 3 skeins of a fingering/4ply weight yarn in colours that contrast nicely with each other. Its a great project for using up partial skeins as you will need no more than 240 yards of each colour.

It was an incredibly fun knit for me, and I can’t wait to see your colour combinations !

Thank you and happy knitting !
