GENERAL INFORMATION
Wrap yourself in waves of color with this elegant shawl, designed to highlight the beauty of three coordinating 50 g skeins of sock weight yarn. Perfect for stash-busting or showcasing a special gradient set, this project begins with simple, meditative garter stitch—ideal for relaxed knitting sessions or cozy evenings in.
As you progress, gentle short row shaping creates soft, undulating waves that gracefully transition between colors. The result is a lightweight yet comforting accessory with a fluid drape and a touch of visual intrigue.

MATERIALS
Designed to be made with three 50 g balls of sock weight yarn in different colours.
Choose a yarn with a minimum of 183 m / 200 yds per 50 g.

Needles and Notions
Sock weight yarn: 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle, or size required for gauge, minimum 80 cm / 32 inches long.
14 Stitch markers. Tapestry needle to sew in ends.

GAUGE
Sock weight: 23 sts and 36 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in garter st, after blocking.
Gauge is important if you are working with 50 g of yarn for each colour.

SIZE
Wingspan: 190 cm / 76 inches, Depth: 42.5 cm / 17 inches. Measurements taken after blocking.
