This shawl was designed to be made with the beautiful halo bundle by Hand Maiden and Fleece Artist. You could also use any combination of mohair and fingering weight yarn.
The garter stitch wedges are ideal for a shawl where both sides will be on show. Short rows are used to create the wedges with a double knitted border to ensure the edge of the shawl is not tight.

You will need to know, or learn the following techniques:

  • Knit in front and back and front again
  • Knit in front and back
  • Make one - specific instructions given
  • Pick up and knit

Knitted with 6mm needles, this satisfyingly knits up quick, it’s a long shawl which is great wrapped round and round your neck.
The Halo Bundle by Hand Maiden, isn’t available to select as a yarn option on Ravelry, 400m (50g) of Angel Hair is required and 400m of fingering weight.
