This easy-to-knit cowl is a quick knit. It’s knit from the bottom up on circular needles in stockinette stitch, with occasionally placed purl rounds.

It’s easy to toss in a pocket or purse and SO nice to have when the wind blows.

I love to make these from handspun yarn. And there’s nothing better than making one in a complimentary color for the recipient.
(This was the perfect color for our model. It truly accented her pretty eyes.)

It’s easy so it’s perfect for knitting groups, meetings, or intense sporting events:)
