Neji_rib is a reversible sock featuring ribbing. On the right side is a combination of 1×1 Twisted Rib and stockinette stitch, and on the reverse side is a combination of 1×1 ribbing and reverse stockinette stitch. They are worked toe-up with a heel flap. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorial links are included. Please watch the video with subtitle commentary turned on.

The pattern includes options of;
Toe: tabi-toe, regular toe, toe-less
Type of cuff: Ending with stretchy BO or I-cord BO, ruffle cuff

neji_rib: It is a coined word for “nejiri-me” and “rib”. Nejiri-me means twisted stitch in Japanese.

60-80 g of fingering weight yarn
Note: The amount of yarn used will vary depending on the length of the leg and foot.

GAUGE
32-33 sts = 10 cm/4” in stockinette st

JP 0 / 2.1 mm or US 0 / 2.0 mm circular needle
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32” circular needle.

neji_ribはつま先から編む、シンプルなねじり目リブの靴下です。リバーシブルで使えるように細部に工夫を加えました。表側はねじり目リブとメリヤス編みの組み合わせで、裏返すとねじり目ではない普通のリブと裏メリヤスの面を表側にして履くことができます。ヒールフラップタイプの踵にもリブ模様が続けて入ります。つま先は足袋型のオプションも選択可。編み方は輪針のマジックループ式に合わせて説明されています。動画解説のリンク付き. 動画は字幕をオンにしてご覧下さい。
