The piece is worked from the center point outward into a triangular shape, using a lace pattern that repeats every 4 rows. With each repeat, the number of shell motifs increases by one, gradually expanding the triangle.

After the triangle is completed, the horizontal edge and slanted triangle borders are finished with edging. Ties are then worked along the top edge, allowing the piece to be worn either as a head scarf or styled around the waist as a wrap skirt.

A resin doming label can be sewn onto the finished piece as a final decorative detail.
